But after seeing the flier that came in the mail, checking out the website and seeing the state of the art facility, I took a chance. Amara was very friendly in setting up our appointment and accomodating our family schedule. When we arrived, everyone from the Reception Staff to our Dental Hygenist's Ashley, Katie and Candy welcomed us and explained to us everything that they were doing. Even my Son (who was nervous about going to the Dentist for the first time) enjoyed having Katie explain to him how important brushing and flossing is. He brushed 2 more times when we got home! I like that the office uses all the latest dental technologies in house; that computerized images are displayed so you can see what is going on with various teeth; and that appointment reminders are sent and confirmed via email. " I've had a distinct phobia of dentists for a number of years now, and so initially came to Dr. Park's with significant anxiety and dental issues. Every visit has been wonderful and efficient, from Melinda already knowing my name after my first visit, to Chea's clear explanation of a plan of action to resolve my dental issues. I've had visits in recent weeks which involved, at various points, interacting with (or being worked on by) Dr. Chang, Dr. Bowlin, Elnaz, Amara, Melinda, Christina, Trisha and Mandy, or nearly the entire staff, and I cannot emphasis how kind and helpful they have been. " Had to wait almost an hour between dental work and cleaning, which were scheduled consecutively. Wrt cleanings, I have a lot of gum recession and my teeth have always stained easily. I therefore require 4 cleanings per year. Use of the scaler causes a great deal of discomfort. When receiving treatment at a previous practice, a prophi-jet (sp?) was used, aka the sand blaster" and I experienced very little discomfort. I am doing everything I can to practice good dental hygiene, but may have to consider another practice that uses the prophi-jet technology due to the level of discomfort experienced with the traditional scaler. That said, the problem is mine, not yours - the care I have received at your practice has been excellent. ..." "
