Dr. Carolyn Chang joins the practice with a wide breadth of skills and experiences, including many community health efforts with which Dr. Chang has had the joy of participating in. Dr. Chang is a skilled dentist and looks forward to helping you achieve your dental health and aesthetic goals. Dr. Chang is also a registered nurse, having graduated from Georgetown University's prestigious School of Nursing and Health Sciences.

Dr. Kelly Bowlin is a life-long resident and member of the Northern Virginia community. Dr. Bowlin joins the practice with extensive training and experience, most recently as a resident at Coler-Goldwater Hospital in New York, NY. Dr. Bowlin trained in Neuroscience (B.S.) prior to attending dental school at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.

Ashley is an excellent Dental Hygienist. She is responsible for helping patients keep their teeth and gums clean and free of disease, through routine cleanings and other therapeutic dental procedures. Ashley graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University's Dental Hygiene program. Ashley prides herself in providing quality dental care, in a professional, caring and efficient way. She enjoys getting to know her patients and making them as comfortable as possible. Ashley also makes patient education a high priority, thoroughly and cheerfully providing education, information, and answers to any questions that patients may have.
Candy is a wonderful Dental Hygienist. Candy recently moved from Arizona to the Northern Virginia area and is getting acclimated to the area and its many wonderful offerings. Candy received her Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University and has over 17-years of experience as a dental hygienist and excels in providing gentle yet thorough hygiene treatments. In addition to providing excellent hygiene care and training for our patients, Candy has many educational and artistic pursuits in her life outside the office.
Elnaz truly enjoys working with patients to promote their oral hygiene habits and lifestyles. Elnaz is passionate about sharing useful and easily applied hygiene tips, in addition to providing thorough and professional prophylaxis and other treatments -- all with an abundantly warm and reassuring approach. Prior to starting her career in the dental field, Elnaz enjoyed a career as a consultant for a major global consulting firm. Elnaz has been a long-time resident of the Northern Virginia area and appreciates the incredibly varied cultural and other offerings the community affords.
Katie has many years of patient-oriented care under her belt. Originally from Texas, Katie trained and spent significant time in Pennsylvania and then Hawaii, prior to joining our dental hygiene team. Katie's clinical focus is on thorough and well communicated hygiene treatment, management and home care. In addition to traveling, Katie enjoys golfing, crafts, baking, and other exciting and challenging activities.
Chea is the Treatment Manager as well as the Practice Administrator for our office.
With over 20 years of excellence in helping patients and administering dental offices, Chea (pronounced "Chay") is a welcome addition to the office. Chea helps patients sequence and schedule their treatment plans, including helping with financial arrangements and navigating insurance benefits. Chea also ensures that patient accounts are accurate and is glad to answer questions that patients may have about their accounts, maximizing flexible savings accounts (FSA), insurance benefits, etc. Outside the office, Chea is an avid golfer (ask about her excellent game) and enjoys experiencing all the culture and cuisines that the city and its surrounding areas have to offer.
Amara is a Patient Coordinator at our office.
Amara has been in the industry for many years and has a real passion for the field. Amara has extensive training and experience in both the clinical as well as management areas of a dental office. She enjoys working with patients in various ways, including welcoming new patients to the office, facilitating and scheduling patient treatments, and helping our patients generally.
Mandie is a Patient Coordinator and is relatively new to the Washington, D.C. metro area, having recently moved from North Carolina where she finished her undergraduate studies. Originally from the mid-west, helping is not only something that comes naturally to Mandie but something that she enjoys as well. Mandie played college level softball and still enjoys being active and busy in her new home city.
Christina is a Dental Assistant and enjoys ensuring that each patient's experience at the office is comfortable and friendly. Christina has years of experience as a dental assistant and participates in all procedures, including complex restorations and make-over cosmetic treatments. Christina appreciates the many different personalities, lifestyles and experiences of the patients who are a part of the office, and is thankful for the daily exchanges of ideas and experiences. Prior to joining the office, Christina received excellent training in the restaurant industry and participated in serving, training and even opening successful restaurants in the Northern Virginia area.
Trisha is a Dental Assistant and is keenly interested in patient care and in sharing information and knowledge with guests of our office. Trisha became interested in the field of dentistry from a very young age, when she frequently visited her orthodontist uncle's practice in California. Having completed her undergraduate studies, Trisha is in the process of selecting dental schools. Trisha works very hard to provide each patient with excellent dental care at our office.
Mandy is a Dental Assistant and welcomes new patients to the office, as well as assisting the dentists. Mandy finished her undergraduate program in the New England area, where she was also on the rowing team. Prior to her undergraduate studies, Mandy excelled in school and other volunteer activities, being recognized for many of her achievements including being Valedictorian of her high school. Mandy is happy to help our patients to identify and achieve their dental goals, ensuring that each of them have healthy and happy smiles.
Sheila was trained by and served in the Air Force as a Dental Assistant. Through that training and service, Sheila assisted in various interesting, complex and situations and standards that are unique to the Air Force's needs. Through her service and those of her family members, Sheila has been fortunate to see and experiance many parts of the country and world.
